Bulk upload

Bulk Upload: Submitting Multiple Assets at Once

What you'll do: Upload multiple assets in one batch, apply the same compliance checks and settings to all of them, and monitor their progress together.

Time to complete: 5–10 minutes (depending on number of assets)

Best for: When you have multiple assets (videos, documents, images) that all need the same compliance checks.

How bulk upload differs from single asset upload

Feature

Single Upload

Bulk Upload

Number of assets

One asset per submission

Multiple assets in one batch

Sidekick selection

Choose for that one asset

Apply same sidekicks to all assets, or set per-asset (takes longer)

Tags & context

Individual per asset

Can apply same tags to all, or set per-asset

Time efficiency

Slower if you have 5+ assets

Much faster — upload all at once

Monitoring

View results one at a time

View all results together in one submission

Cost

One credit charge per asset

Same credit cost, but fewer setup steps

Step 1: Start a new bulk submission

  1. From your Dashboard, click + New Submission.

  2. When you select more than one asset, the submission automatically switches to bulk mode.

  3. You'll see the New Bulk Submission form.

Step 2: Upload multiple assets

  1. Click Add Files or drag and drop multiple files into the upload area.

  2. You can upload:

    • Multiple video files (MP4, MOV, WebM)

    • Multiple PDF documents

    • Multiple Word documents (DOCX)

    • Multiple images (JPEG, PNG)

    • Or a mix of file types

  3. Each file becomes its own asset, but they're grouped in one submission.

  4. You'll see a list of all selected files with their file sizes. Remove any you don't need by clicking the × icon next to it.

  5. Click Next to continue.

Step 3: Set compliance checks for all assets

  1. You'll see the Select Compliance Sidekicks page.

  2. All available compliance checks are pre-selected by default.

  3. Any sidekicks you select here will run on all assets in this bulk submission.

  4. You can uncheck any sidekick if you don't want it to run on any of the assets.

  5. Click Next to continue.

Step 4: Add tags and context (optional)

This step differs from single upload—you can apply settings in two ways:

Option A: Apply to all assets

  • Add tags that will be applied to every asset in this batch (e.g. "campaign:summer-2026", "team:social").

  • Add asset context (e.g. social captions) that applies to all video assets.

Option B: Set per-asset

  • In the file list, you'll see an edit icon next to each file.

  • Click it to add unique context or tags for that specific asset before submission.

Step 5: Review and submit

  1. You'll see a Review page showing:

    • Count of assets in this submission

    • All selected compliance checks (applies to all assets)

    • Any bulk tags or context you added

    • Estimated total credit cost

    • Submission title (e.g. "Q3 campaign videos")

  2. Review the details. Click Back to edit if needed.

  3. Click Submit to process all assets.

Step 6: Monitor progress

  1. You'll see a Batch Processing screen showing progress for all assets.

  2. Each asset processes independently:

    • Icons show status for each file (uploading, processing, complete).

    • You can close this page—processing continues in the background.

  3. Once all assets are complete, you'll move to the Results page.

Step 7: View your results

You can view results in two ways:

Option A: Via Submissions page

  1. Go to Submissions in the main navigation and click into your bulk submission.

  2. You'll see the submission page with all assets listed.

  3. Use the switcher at the top to move between individual assets in this submission.

  4. Click any asset card to view its detailed results (same as single upload results page).

Option B: Via Assets table

  1. Go to Assets in the main navigation.

  2. You'll see a table of all assets across your workspace, including those from this bulk submission.

  3. Click any asset to view its detailed results.

Step 8: Share, annotate, or provide feedback

From any asset's results page, you can:

  • Share the asset — generate a magic link to share this asset's results.

  • Add comments — comment on any issue using @mention.

  • Provide feedback — rate sidekick quality with thumbs up/down to help us improve.

  • Download risk report — once the asset is marked compliant, download a PDF of all results, rule versions, and dates for your records.

Key advantages of bulk upload

Faster setup — select sidekicks once instead of multiple times (if using batch mode)
Consistent configuration — all assets checked the same way
Batch monitoring — see all assets within one submission, easy to track together
Single cost calculation — credits charged once per asset, but fewer submission steps
Easy navigation — view individual asset results via switcher or Assets table

Limits & notes

  • Max assets per bulk submission: Contact support if you need to upload more than 50 assets at once.

  • File size: Each file up to 500MB.

  • Processing time: Bulk submissions process slightly slower than single uploads (higher queue), but it's still typically a few minutes.

  • Credits: You pay the same credit cost per asset as single upload—no discount, but no setup overhead.
